Bridging the Divide: Our Founding Story

Our story began with a desire to eliminate the frustration common in the renovation industry. Eran Bar Shalom and Moshe Menahem recognized a disconnect in the Portland market. Homeowners were often forced to choose between small, personable contractors who lacked resources and large, impersonal corporations that treated every house like a spreadsheet number.

They launched this business to bridge that divide. Starting with a focus on high-quality residential remodeling, we quickly realized that controlling the supply chain was crucial to achieving consistency. This led to the expansion of our capabilities, including the establishment of our own stone fabrication division. 

Today, we operate across Oregon, growing from a local remodeling crew into a comprehensive design-build firm. We have handled everything from complex kitchen overhauls in historic Irvington homes to durable roofing projects in the rain-soaked hills of the Westside. Throughout this growth, we have maintained the direct owner involvement that defined our early days, proving that a business can scale without losing the personal touch.

What truly distinguishes us is our ability to control the critical parts of a renovation internally. Unlike many general contractors who rely entirely on external vendors, we own and operate a dedicated countertop fabrication facility staffed by professionals. This vertical integration allows us to compress timelines by weeks compared to standard industry schedules while maintaining strict quality control over kitchen and bath surfaces.

We're also a COBID-certified business (Certification Office for Business Inclusion and Diversity), recognized by the State of Oregon for our commitment to diversity and inclusion in the marketplace.
